Pantisoka Thongo & The Slavers of Alsoran Now on Sale on Smashwords

Book is available on Smashwords right here.

Welcome to “Slavers of Alsoran,” probably the most self-important erotic parody of St@r W@rs ever written. But it also ruins other important science fiction franchises such as Foundation, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Superman, the Culture, Ringworld, Dune, Barbarella, UFO, and Avatar. It also also ruins some REALLY weird things like A Mighty Wind, Support Your Local Gunfighter, A Prairie Home Companion and your childhood. It’s got something to offend EVERYONE. In fact, it was named 2023’s Most Legally Actionable Novella by the Shyster Chamber of Commerce.

In “Slavers of Alsoran” Pantisoka “Panti” Thongo, a secret agent for Bela Orgazmo, is home on Planet Alsoran from a tough mission. All she wants to do is go to her favorite kinky club and get her brains Mastered out. And sure enough, Panti’s sub friends at the club point out a handsome Master with crinkly brown eyes and a chin you could pound nails with, who really knows his way around a dungeon. But Gai Nwar is a little TOO smooth in Panti’s opinion. He COULD just be a guy with a thing for Rootugas. Such men weren’t rare, since Rootuga females were the only humanoid species known to have evolved the oral clit.
But Gai might also be a lureman with a shopping list. Evil harem owners on the crapsack worlds that fringed the Galactic Umpire also had a thing for Rootugas.
The voluntary slavegirls (as sexual submissives were called on crapsack worlds) didn’t have to be dragged kicking and screaming into their lairs, making them prizes for slavers. And that made Rootuga voluntary slavegirls like Panti super ultimate mega grand supreme prizes for slavers.
Gai might even be an agent for the evil shith lord Dearth Bother, a charred piece of bacon that had once been a juicy hamhock of a man, now bent on destroying all former Jiggli knights. The evening promises a night of sweet sex and submission with handsome, dominant Gai, or perhaps it will be a night of carving up slavers and shith lords with her twin light scimitars. Panti is ready for anything, because she’s just that kind of heroic slavegirl! Read this 33,000 word novella now and enjoy the filth and the fun that has made BDSM sci-fi erotic parody America’s most beloved sub genre!

"Empire of Love" Is Now On Amazon

Click here or on the cover art to get whisked away to Amazon, where you can get the book free if you have Kindle Unlimited. Just $2.99 if not.

Writing as Barry Anderson, I've written a third book in the Collar World series which includes The Visitor from Incel World and The Love Invasion. Like the other two novels, it's not erotica (no explicit sex scenes) it's adult SF adventure. However, I have taken the lessons of John Norman to heart and placed plenty of fantasy fuel in the story. Hopefully everyone will lurve it. Or at least love it!

Here's the blurberino!

When Collar World’s time monitors discover a new timeline, they quickly realize they need out-of-the-box thinking and they need it fast. A brutal Old West theocracy on the alternate timeline, the Empire of Luvala, is hanging slaves for little or no reason, and with horrifying frequency.

So naturally the call goes out to the Laguna Beach Ladies’ Investigation Bureau, i.e., Nitro Wilde and Moxie Maven. After all, they helped head off a crosstime war between Incel World and Collar World when their timelines intermingled. And all they’re asked to do is sit in a conference room in Collar World and help come up with ideas to end the murderous reign of the Luvalans on Earth 4 (the newly discovered timeline) as quickly and with as little violence as possible.

Given enough time, the Collar Worlders could probably end the hangings with no violence at all. But every day’s delay means more innocent slaves will be brutalized and hanged. The clock is ticking and the sound is the fall of bodies through a gallows door.

Unfortunately, there was more going on on Earth 4 than meets the eye, and soon Moxie is struggling for her life while the leadership on Collar World may decide to abandon Earth 4 and everyone on it in the face of the possible destruction of Collar World itself!

It’s another exciting alternate world adventure that will keep you riveted as lives and the fates of worlds hang in the balance, as well as the fate of one innocent native American.

This 75,000 word novel is part of the Incel World series that began with “The Visitor from Incel World” and continues with “The Love Invasion” and this novel.

"Butterfly: A Day In The Park" Now Available for Labor Day!

So here ya go friends, another light-hearted kinky erotic romance. But one appropriate for Labor Day. In this story I tried to imagine what it would be like to live in a society where no one is insecure about having food, shelter and clothing and no one is required to work, and the work that is available is four six hour days out of an eight day week: in short, a four day work week and a four day weekend. (We could do this right now if we wanted to.) They have plenty of time for love.

Also in that world, BDSM is considered the normal way to have sex. It is, in short, a fun world. The story is about two people who go to the park, dance, have lunch and go to a sex dungeon and have all sort of sexy dungeon fun. That is literally all there is to the novella, though they have a LOT of sexy dungeon fun.

We don't live in a society like that, but Labor Day IS a three day vacation, so here's hoping you all have a wonderful time this Labor Day.

"I, The Glider Gun" Now Available on Smashwords

Detective Lacy Throbb of the Century City Police Department was a loose cannon who wrote her own rules and broke them, too! Criminals in Century City had a love-hate relationship with her. They hated the way things always came out badly for them whenever they tried to maim or kill her. And they loved how easy it was to rape her, especially if she was tied up.

But there was a method to this madness and it would take the combined efforts of a numbers runner, Lacy's bestie informant Junie Jamieson, a genius hacker and Lacy herself to figure out what it was, and what it was might well challenge the nature of reality itself.

This is a genre-bending story that's part taboo erotica, part hard-boiled crime noir, part science fiction and a little bit gonzo. If you had to categorize it, you might say it's pulp detective sci fi parody erotica, but that doesn't really do the story justice. It doesn't just break the mold, it CRUSHES the mold!

“I, The Glider Gun” is in the same universe (in fact, the same city) as “Junie Jamieson, Snoopy Reporter: Captured by Gangsters” but you don't have to read “Captured by Gangsters” to enjoy “I, the Glider Gun,” it is a completely stand-alone story. “I, The Glider Gun” is over 30,000 words in length.

"Attack of the 100 Foot Virgin" Now On Smashwords

Get the Smashwords version of "Attack of the 100 Foot Virgin here!

(On the left we have the Amazon cover, on the right we have the Smashwords cover. We’ll be referencing the cover art shortly, but go ahead and look if you want to.)

“Attack of the 100-Foot Virgin” is the third book in the Jinkie Jenkins Adventures. I’m moving it to Smashwords and in doing so I edited it a bit, finding a few typos and so forth. It’s still the same story, just cleaned up a bit.

However, I did make a few text changes for editorial reasons, and I did that as a direct result of a keyword research I did. I was unhappy with the keywords I used on Amazon and tried to think up a few more. The scene on the cover involves the protagonist being sold at a slave auction in a city square, stark naked and in bondage, of course. To help prospective customers see the merchandise, cambots project a hundred foot tall image of her (hence our title). There are also a lot of other elements to the scene, and though no actual flying saucers, there’s stuff that’s pretty close. And of course there’s a frightened crowd.

Naturally, our virginal heroine finds it exquisitely humiliating to be paraded about naked, her every feature gigantic and clearly visible to the crowd in the square. And yet, I never researched the keyword “humiliation.” So I did, and I hit a goldmine. On Amazon, I got over 20,000 hits on the Kindle Store for books with the keyword “humiliation.” That’s HUGE. But I figured that a lot of hits might come from non-sexy books with that keyword. So I did a search for the phrase “humiliation erotica” and got over 20,000 hits. Which means of course that practically every book that had “humiliation” as a keyword is erotica.

It’s a HUGE niche.

Well I was all over that and tried all sorts of phrases and variations of the “humiliation” keyword. And I also rewrote a few scenes to heighten Jinkie’s humiliations.

I also redid the cover, as you see up top. The old cover was just brain-dead. Zeroing in the scene with giant Jinkie in the square was a no-brainer. And I went to considerable effort to get an image of her looking gigantic in a city, poised to wreak havoc, with a ballgag in her mouth and cuffs on her wrists.  Which worked out fine as far as it went, but it didn’t go nearly far enough.

When I looked at the cover for Smashwords, I knew it could be improved, and it was kind of obvious how. The sky, that freaking gray sky was empty and dull. It did nothing. I realized that when I had created the original image, I had been unconsciously (i.e., stupidly) emulating [the promo art](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e5/Attackofthe50ftwoman.jpg) for “Attack of the 50-foot Woman.” My image is more or less static except for the woman. But in the promo poster, things are happening: cars and trucks are crashing and falling of elevated roadways, people are fleeing in terror, she’s got a car in her hand, it’s got it going on (except, that, like my art, the sky contains nothing but text).

I knew I wanted a pulp kinda cover, so I went in and actioned things up. I put in flying saucers, a dramatic bloody red sky with giant moon/planet, and people running in terror. All of it clip art, mind you, and not particularly UNIFIED clip art in terms of technique. The base art from both cover versions is 3-D virtual world art from Second Life. The people running in the foreground are 2D pen and ink with watercolor comic art. The spaceships are 3D graphics and go fairly nicely with the Second Life art, though their shading is better. And the sky in the background is a photo. I used a filter to give the Second Life art, especially Jinkie, to work better with the cartoon figures in the foreground, but overall, given my limitations (I’m not an artist) I thought I improved it a lot.

(That said, an artist undoubtedly would have done a MUCH better job than I did, starting with giving the image a graphically unified look, and continuing with doing a better job of designing the image, and beyond that doing a better job of implementing the design. A really good artist would come up with a cover concept that would put mine to shame. For example, see the cover to [Adventures of Bondor Woman.](https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/726662) which was done by a real artist. When and if my books ever start making decent money – ahem, I mean more decent than the millions they already make – no one will be happier to pay artists to do the covers than me.)

Still, I think the cover is fairly effective at saying, “Here be funny, sexy science fiction.” And I’ve seen pro covers that were … much worse about visually suggesting the book’s contents.

Anyway, that’s enough nattering. Here’s da blurb:

Oh, noes! Interstellar sex reporter Jinkie Jenkins has been kidnapped! What happened to her?

Well we can't tell all, not in this blurb anyway. But in the writhing mass of science fiction adventure, hilarity and kinky sex slave fun that some call “Attack of the 100-Foot Virgin” we DO tell all.

And in this blurb, there are some things we CAN say. We can tell you that on Alderan, Jinkie is now known as “The Riotess of Cyzlyk City” and is wanted by the authorities there on numerous charges. We can tell you that Marty Stu the “non-sentient” glow ball bot becomes a Forest Management Services bot and is eaten a couple of times. That the Mayor of Cyzlyk City comes to believe that a distant city called "France" has declared war on Cyzlyk City, for perfectly good and sufficient Jinkie-related reasons. And we can't tell you why Jinkie HATES being a hundred-foot-tall virgin in the middle of Cyzlyk City square. Wait a minute, we can: it's because she's naked and in bondage, and like, totally humiliated. We just can't tell you why that happens, or why Jinkie is naked. But it's perfectly rational... on Alderan.

We also can't tell you why the Rebellion, the mercs, Grab Ass, John Quill, the Borkistanis and the Cyzlyk City copbots all want to get their hands on Jinkie and hotmeat, or why Marty Stu got defenestrated. We can't tell you hotmeat's former name, or Marty Stu and the Interstellar Inquirer's fates.

You'll just have to read the book to find out, you ridiculously silly human, you.

This novel is over 55,000 words long and we can tell you that it may well be the funniest thing Pat Powers has ever written. Especially that one scene. No, we can't tell you what it is. You'll know.

It's a fun little novelette about how office work will proceed in the future of tomorrow! Da blurb:

It's the future. Robots have taken almost all of the jobs and most people live on Basic Income. They do not work, and their lives are an endless party, or an endless pursuit of their dreams, hobbies and ambitions. Nobody has to do anything just to survive.

Still, some corporations do need at least a few human beings to work for them, if only to provide human input on their products and services. Thunder Muffin Corporation is one such corporation. So how does a corporation attract human beings away from their endless parties and make them care about the WEINUS? Or the VEINUS? Or the heinous ANNUS?

By making work MORE FUN than FUN, that's how. And that's why Jenny became a corporate slave girl for Thunder Muffin Corporation, the lowest, humblest job the corporation had to offer. But if you think being a corporate slave girl is endless drudgery, that's where you're wrong. Drudgery is for robots! Slave girls are for kinky sex and bondage games, an important part of keeping any corporation humming along smoothly. Jenny will discover how much fun there is to be had in breakrooms, in hallways, in deserted meeting rooms, and in crowded workrooms, including but not limited to the slavegirl bouncy ball bondage race! The Visitor to Incel World Is Now Free On Amazon Through May 15

Get It For Free At This Link

It's an alternate world science fiction novel, I'm making it a free promo for a few days, hopefully it will draw readers to the sequel, "The Love Invasion" in which one alternate world attempts to stave off war with another. Here's da blurb on "The Visitor From Incel World:"

Ariana Heppelwhite was a promising Gender Studies grad student at Lacy Swanson College for Women in Bayport, Massachusetts. She had actually written a paper describing three hitherto unknown forms of nanoaggression! She was on track for getting a professorship and a actual job with a real salary and all the perks, maybe even tenure eventually.

Ariana had even met an unexpectedly charming incel (a phrase she had never expected to think, much less say) while doing research on incels for a grant she had. Sure, she'd done some nasty academic infighting that had an athletic department coach looking for her scalp over a transmale gaze incident, but overall, things were coming up roses for Ariana.

Then it happened. Ariana got caught in a freak physics accident while running from the gym coach, and was transported to an alternate world. And it was the exact WRONG world for a Gender Studies feminist to be transported to. It was full of women who walked around naked in public and wore collars engraved with “Property of (their significant other)” and who LOVED their collars -- and who seemed to think Ariana was a barbarian from a violent place.

And the thing was, they were all nice people, and calm people, and they just might be right about Ariana. Even more of a thing was that some not-so-nice Collar Land people thought Ariana's world represented such a threat that they should kill her for security reasons.

Will Ariana ever make it back to good old Earth from Collar Land? Will she learn to adjust to these very strange people or will she subvert their entire society? Will the not-nice people kill her? And what about that unexpectedly charming incel?

All these questions and more will be answered -- all you have to do is read this topnotch science fiction comedy!

Jessica's Virgin Auction is now on Smashwords

You can buy it at this link. It's the same book published on Amazon, but now costs only $1.99.

I've decided to go wide with a lot of my stories, so will be taking them out of KU and publishing them on Smashwords and probably other venues as well. Here's da blurb:

Jessica waited in a tavern alcove, naked bound and gagged, for the first of ten lucky men.

For eighteen long years, Jessica was a very good girl. She had to be. Her parents had bought a watcherball and set it on her. It floated in the air near her at all times, and made sure no one could harm her or bully her. But her sexually hyper-conservative parents had also used the watcherball to prevent her from having any contact with boys, and little or no knowledge of sex outside of the clinical details that were taught in the mandatory school sex education program.

Jessica couldn't even let her hand steal down to her private parts without getting a jolt from the watcherball, not even in her sleep!

But Jessica had an intense interest in boys and sex. Keeping it bottled up for 18 years had only intensified it. The day Jessica turned 18 and became a Basic citizen in her own right, she had deactivated the watcherball, moved into her own apartment and gotten a pornstar body nano-upgrade. Then she had applied for work as a tavern slut, the most sexually intense work there was.

And when the tavern mistress learned that Jessica was a virgin, she suggested to Jessica that they have an event that was rare even in the ultra-sexually licentious 2100s: a virgin auction (because there were so few virgins, and not all of them were interested in being tavern sluts).

Jessica went for it, big time, especially when she found out that her virginity would be auctioned to not one, but ten lucky men who'd use her, one after the other, on a single night of unbridled passion and sexual debauchery. Jessica wanted to dive right into the black box that her parents have made of sex and sexuality. She has names and clinical descriptions of the things she might do, and which might be done to her, but she has NO idea what it will feel like, how it will changer her. But Jessica does know that the idea of giving her virginity to ten random men in return for money as if she were some lowly slave girl appeals to her like nothing else ever has.

Jessica's virgin auction at the Smiling Slut Tavern will be a night of unbridled passion and raw lust that will leave the tavern in tatters. What adventures will await Jessica as she kneels naked and in sexual bondage in her alcove, locked in a chastity belt and a head harness, blindfolded and with her hands cuffed behind her back, waiting to have sex for the first time ever? Don't miss out!

This novella is over 28,000 words long and is part of the Basic Income world.

"So This Is My Life Now" Now Available on Smashwords

Get "So This Is My Life Now" Here!

When a high-powered corporate exec discover that lower tier employees are unexplainably happy, she investigates and thanks to a mysterious new kind of brain implant, shortly thereafter somehow becomes a sex slave to the Lesbian Janissaries of the Thongan Resistance! It's lesbian BDSM erotica with a science fiction flair!

It's a tasty 13000+ novelette (another thousand words and it would have been a novella!) set in the Your Fantasies Unlimited milieu of my Basic Income stories. It's the same story that's been on sale on Amazon for a while, now available on Smashwords because I think it has appeal for all the lesbian sex slavery erotica fans out there.

It's been rewritten, about a thousand new words have been added, and some of the text throughout has been improved, but there's no point in buying it on Smashwords if you have it on Amazon, because it's the same story in both cases.

There IS a point to buying it on Smashwords if you haven't bought it on Amazon, and that point is that it costs a buck less: it sells for $2.99 on Amazon and for $1.99 on Smashwords. Ah, the vagaries of the marketplace!

"Sex Station Slut" is hardcore sexual bondage rape socialist propaganda science fiction porn!

Here’s a little scene from a great sports movie, “Bull Durham,” that describes my creative process. I don’t know where the story is gonna go!

Take “Sex Station Slut” for example. Like some of my stories (OK, a lot of them) it had its beginning in a pornographic image. [This image here, a hentai.](https://i.imgur.com/MA1F4il.jpg) It’s not the best hentai in terms of graphic quality. Particularly bad is the left leg, where the artist CLEARLY had some issues with handling foreshortening properly, so that the left leg appears to be about half the size of the right leg.

But that’s not important. What really matters is that the image is insanely hot. The figure of the bound, naked woman is ripe and round and her breasts are large. She’s posed in what appears to be mid-writhe. Why is she writhing? Some of it might be the giant buttplug in her ass. (The butplug n her ass doesn’t bear looking at closely, or thinking about at all. It just serves to make her look sexually impaled.)

But the real clue is her pussy, which is reddened and damp. It looks like someone has been fucking it senseless, or at the very least vibrating it with a wand or finger banging it. Whatever, her pussy is the very picture of female sexual arousal.

Combined with her dynamic pose straining against the ropes that hold her, and the big gag that covers her mouth, and her wide open eyes, she’s just a vision of helpless female sexual arousal. You just want to jump on that pussy and fuck it senseless and make her scream with pleasure into her gag as she writhes helplessly beneath you while you fuck her brains out.

And that’s the feeling I wanted to capture in my story, that jump-on-it raw lust fuck it now feeling.

So I started out writing a story about a horny young dude with money in his pocket wanting to get it on on a Friday night, and wound up writing hardcore socialist bondage rape porn about the way capitalism alienates people from one another, and from their own feelings.

Really. That’s what happened. I had thought about capitalism and alienation before, but never from the perspective of bondage porn. It was always political in nature when I thought about it.

But my main character said early on “That’s capitalism for ya.” It was a throwaway comment, comparing capitalism to the weather, something huge you can’t do much about, just shrug and go on.  And the crux of the story is what sort of relationship might arise from all the intense bondage sex they have. But the male character kept having issues because of the female character’s job.

And that’s when I figured out what was going on, and I went with it, and that’s how I wound up writing socialist propaganda hardcore bondage rape porn.

Now, I tried to go easy on the socialism, and I think I did a pretty good job It was easy in a sense, because it was a relationship story and it was porn, so I kept things focused on their sexual action and their personal relationship, and tried to keep it to the natural thoughts the protagonist would have … no sudden outbursts of speculation on the nature of capitalism and its debilitating effects on human relationships. I just showed the relationship being degraded by the inbuilt assumptions of the protagonist.

I strongly suspect that no one would recognize it as socialist propaganda if I didn’t point it out as such.

The female protagonist is not the POV character, and she spends a lot of time gagged, but when she does talk she is not very forthcoming. She has the kind of clear perspective that people sometimes get when they are on the very bottom of the social totem pole. But she also knows that, being on the bottom of the social totem pole, nobody cares about her opinions. (Something being bound and gagged a lot while strangers rape her has taught her.)

I also found it easy to keep my socialist propaganda in the background because I set my story in my Basic universe, where most people are the survivors of a genocidal war between regular folks and oligarchs that damn near wiped out both sides, with the regular folks survivors, still numbering in the hundreds of millions (but no longer in billions) guaranteed a Basic Income since almost all jobs are automated and the oligarchs own all the machines.

The resulting society is kind of utopia, and kind of a dystopia, depending on your point of view and your experiences. For the oligarchs, it’s a utopia, they have wealth beyond measure and can do whatever they like, constrained only by the knowledge that there are only a few hundred of them and if they make things too tough for the regular folks they might just get wiped out if there’s another war. As they learned in the previous war, they might have all the weapons and all the tech and be able to kill regular folks en masse, but when millions of people are willing to risk death to kill you, you die, even if the chances of your dying are a million to one.

Still, if you can just resist the impulse toward genocide, life is pretty sweet for oligarchs.

Life is also very sweet for Premies, or Premium citizens, those few people whom the oligarchs need to perform important tasks for them. They live like rock stars, with beach mansions and very comfortable lifestyles in general, including the ability to obtain Basics who have misbehaved as sex slaves through the Pet Girl program (I’ve got a freebie book about a Pet Girl called Pet Shop Slave Girls #1 Katie -- feel free to check it out, better yet check out the novel I wrote about a Pet Shop slavegirl, Nataly: Virgin Auction.

Premies live like medieval lords when they aren’t working for the oligarchs, and there is a lot of media interest in their goings and doings and parties – they are celebrities, in essence.

Life is also pretty damned good for Basics if they can stay out of trouble, which mostly consists of not committing acts of violence or stealing. They get all their Basic needs (housing, food, clothing, medical care) taken care of for free, and a lot more than that, actually. Here’s a bit from the promo for “Nataly: Virgin Auction” that shows how good Basics have it:

>Everything went to hell for Nataly when her dad lost his job as a programmer and he and the family went broke and had to fall back on Basic Income to survive. Nataly, her father and mother found themselves trapped in a nightmarish reality in which they had to eat PRINTED steak and lobster instead of the real thing, when they couldn't charter a private jet for a family vacation, but had to SHARE a jet with other Basics on vacation, and in which they couldn't buy first-run designer fashions straight from the runways of Paris, Rome and New York, but had to wait a MONTH to buy incredibly cheap knock-offs (once again, PRINTED instead of handmade), and endure other such indignities too numerous to mention.

As you can see, Basics have it pretty good. Vacations, designer clothes, lobster and steak for dinner every day if they like. Cheap 3D printer tech has made material want a thing of the past.

And if you’re a Basic with any intellectual interests, the ollies will not only allow you to pursue them, but will actively HELP you pursue them. And if you want to be a rocknroll star and spend all your time playing music, you can do that, you can do pretty much whatever you want except hurt other people. The Ollies don’t care, and they make no pretense of having religious or moral concerns about the Basics, they just want to them to not be violent. (Though various forms of recreational violence, such as boxing, MMA fighting and football are allowed – useful for giving release to the violent impulses of hormonally swamped younger males and sometimes females.)

And even though jobs are rare, gigs are not rare, many Basics have gigs, like our protagonist, work that can disappear overnight, often very short term work, just things that need to be done and can be done by your average Jamie. And if you have a gig you may not be a rockstar, but you can easily afford to buy the use of a woman like Vanessa for an hour or two – any kind of use you like.

The only people who have it rough are the Basics who can’t live by the rules, for whatever reason. People like the Pet Shop girls Katie and Nataly, and Vanessa.

The Basic universe is hence a cross between Super Ultra Late Stage Capitalism and Super Gay Luxury Space Communism. The oligarchs own it all, but what does “ownership” mean in this case? Not a hell of a lot, to the Basics.

The point of all this is that I could embed my socialist viewpoint in simple descriptions of Basic society – it’s already there for me to use, I don’t have to do tons of exposition.

Well, now you know. Buy the story, get turned on and propagandized! You have nothing to lose but your capitalist propagandizement!

"Always Pay Your Parking Tickets On Pluterday, Now Available On Amazon

"Always Pay Your Parking Tickets on Pluterday" is one of those stories that just comes out of nowhere. Well, not TOTALLY out of nowhere, it came out of somewhere, specifically, this image.

I knew there was a story in that image SOMEWHERE, I just didn't know what it was. There was just something about the totally hapless expression on the woman's face that just cracked me up. “Oh, well, I'm being fucked by the person in the leather suit bot in my pussy and my mouth at the same time AGAIN.”

So I just decided, what the hell, I'll pants it. Just sit down and write whatever my subconscious comes up with. Every so often when I do this it feels like someone is in my subconscious telling me a story. This is not the norm.

Most of the time, the voices of my characters are careful constructs. I've detailed before how I use the voices of comedians like Bill Burr (who, in my mind, voiced a character in The Visitor from Incel World or characters from stories whom you might not expect to find in erotica and who've been through some major changes (like Nitro Wilde and Moxie Maven in The Love Invasion who are, respectively, a female asexual genius private eye and a sexy slavegirl private eye who assists her, and who are based, respectively, on Nero Wolfe and Archie Goodwin). Most of the time I use them for the “voice” of the character, the way they express themselves (though Wilde and Maven are more like fun-house caricatures of Wolfe and Goodwin).

But this was not a constructed character, I did no planning at all. This gleeful, perverted motormouth started up and told the story and all I had to do was write it down.

Really, “Always Pay Your Parking Tickets on Pluterday” has stuff I have never done before. It has, for example, a twisty plot. I generally have plots in my stories, but they're not TWISTY because what's happening in the story is generally far out enough that playing games with it is just gilding the lily.

Also, this is my first gonzo bizarre humor story. I use humor in all my stories, to one degree an another, and in various ways. For example, Princess Slave Girl of Bal-Marduk is a straight-up parody of the primeval insanity that was the Bronze Age, whereas The Adventures of Jenkie Jenkins, Interstellar Sex Reporter is a the old “virginal prude is forced to encounter extreme sexual depravity a lot” story ramped up to infinity and beyond as future technology takes depravity to new extremes.

Even relatively serious stories like Stolen Collar, Stolen Heart which is basically a young adult contemporary romance set on an alternate world where everyone is kinky, had a lot of parodies of Earth customs, such as dating for young adults being replaced by kidnapping and collaring.

But I've never done bizarre (aka bizarro, aka gonzo) humor before. I hadn't realized I was writing it until after I finished the story. I think you'll get a feel for the tone of the story by comparing three things: the photo that I said this story was inspired by, the “Parks & Recreation” TV series which I was binge-watching while I wrote this and [the cover seen below from the book Santa Claus Conquers the Homophobes”:

They all combined in my subconscious somehow to create the story I wrote.  And though I can't tell you plot details, I can tell you this: hang on, you're in for a wild ride!

This story is over 7,100 words long and is the third story in the “So This Is My Life Now” series.

"Earth: The Love Invasion" Now Available on Amazon

Link to "Earth: The Love Invasion"

(Barry Anderson is a pen name I use to write non-erotic science fiction so as not to disappoint my erotica readers. I want to disappoint a NEW group of readers, thankyewverymuch. Not that everybody won't enjoy this book!)

“Earth: The Love Invasion” is a sequel to “The Visitor From Incel World” but can easily be read as a standalone as it has just two characters carried forward from the previous book, neither of whom is the main character in either book. (Doctor Tammy Frisbie and CIA Agent June Smoringe, for the record.)

What I wanted to do in “Love Invasion” is create a modern update on the pulpy SF alien invasion stories of the 1950s and 60s. You can't really recreate those stories, because they had the cultural energy caused by the Cold War and the McCarthyite Red Scare going to add depth and scariness to the stories. (With Red Scare, we're talking about the 1950s-60s era of politically and culturally conservative hysteria about secret communist spies everywhere, not the podcast, an entirely different thing.)

But right now we have another source of energy to drive the story, as the world slides into Crapsack World status thanks to the inspired leadership of the United States of America. And as I wrote the story, I tried to keep in mind the horrified expression a peaceful human race that has conquered violence and aggression would have as they looked at the prospect of visitors from our wonderful, wonderful world.

And although “Love Invasion” isn't erotica, it's still deals with a world of kinky people. Although there are no explicit sex scenes, there are sex scenes, mostly played for laughs. Kinky fun will be had, just not explicit kinky fun.

And the kink theme of Collar World gives me an excellent change to present vanilla sexuality from a kinkster's view, except of course the Collar World kinksters are not aware of themselves as kinksters, coming from a world of kinksters. They just think the vanilla folks of Earth are kind of strange, violent, twisted and very bad at sex.

I spent a lot of time figuratively rubbing my hands with glee as I wrote this story, yes I did. (I couldn't literally rub my hands with glee because I needed them for typing.) I hope readers will enjoy “Earth: The Love Invasion” as much as I have.

Star Treque: Attack of the Kinky Slave Girls! -- An Erotic Parody (Collar World Book 6) Now On Amazon

I enjoyed parodying "Late Night On Onion Station" so I thought I'd give parody another shot, this time a SLIGHTLY better-known property, "Star Trek." I'm a fan, watched TOS, the Next Generation and some episode of Voyager and Enterprise, as well as all of the movies. I even married a woman who went to Dragoncon wearing a tribble suit. I didn't marry her FOR that reason, but it should be noted that it didn't deter me in the slightest, in fact, it was cool to me.

So I felt fully qualified to parody Star Trek. I decided to base my parody on TOS, because let's face it, there's a LOT of room for parody there. Most especially sexual parody, since The Original Series was an unreconstructed product of the sixties, with Captain Kirk jumping on any green-skinned alien woman he can find and Lt. Baskethead (I mean, Rand) sexing up the show for no particular reason, a task soon taken over by Nichelle Nichols.

I didn't entirely confine myself to TOS characters, I included Lieutenant Worf (Lt. Rorf Woof in my story) from Next Generation mainly because I was going to have Klingons, too, and he would come in handy for several reasons.

For the same reason, I had an Orion slave girl ("Aurion" in my story) as a cultural attache on the crew, helping integrate the Orions into the Federation, or as I called it, the Agglomeration. Encountering the Empire of the Collar (essentially, Collar World in space with gigantic men, because why the hell not?) the Participation Prize crew would naturally call on an Aurion slave girl for advice on how to deal with such a sexy menace.

Especially since the Empire of the Collar is technologically far in advance of both the Agglomeration and the Klingons (“Klaxons” in my story). It would have made an interesting story for Star Trek, except of course that Star Trek would never have been sex-positive and kink-positive.

And of course, being an erotic parody I was free to follow the sexiest, kinkiest elements of the story as far as I wanted to, which was very far, indeed. And I did not neglect the humor either, I had a LOT of fun with story and characters.

It's a shame media Trek could never follow where I have gone before. I've been to science fiction conventions, I've SEEN what the fan base gets up to, left on their own. They would have loved it. In the meantime, there's my parody, I'm hoping fans will love it. Maybe you will, too. Either way, live long and pump her.

Two Great Books About Feminists On Alternate Worlds

So, I noticed that Annalee Newitz, one of the founders of IO9, has written a science fiction novel about feminists engaged in a war with misogynists over control of their timeline. Feminists on alternate worlds, gee, sounds familiar ... wonder where I've encountered that before? Oh, right, I just wrote a book with the exact same theme (though a very different approach).

Of course, Annalee Newitz is someone with a little name recognition, and her book is being published by a traditional publisher with all sorts of marketing clout, whereas I am an unknown outside a circle of deeply disturbed fans (Go, fans!) an indie publisher whose only marketing clout is his wits, which is to say, virtually none.

So I decided to emulate traditional publishers and hitch my wagon to a star! (I mean, really, I don't know HOW many publishers announced that THEIR darling's latest magnum opus romance with just barely enough kink to it to even be noticeable was "The Next Fifty Shades of Gray." But I know it was practically all of them.)

So here's my latest publicity effort for my books. Note that I am promoting Newitz's book, too. Just bein' a stand-up guy:

Have you read The Future of Another Timeline by Annalee Newitz? (Sadly, not available on KU) It's about a group of brave feminists at war misognyists to control their timeline, protecting womankind from a future that makes “The Handmaid's Tale” look like a picnic.
Want another book about feminists on alternate worlds? Try The Visitor From Incel World by Barry Anderson, which is totally available on KU!
Thanks to Barry Anderson, you don't have to wait for Ms. Newitz to get around to writing a sequel. In “The Visitor From Incel World,” Ariana Heppelwhite, a gender studies grad student at Lacy Swanson Women's College, is caught in the aftermath of a physics experiment gone wrong and catapulted into another world, which she names Collar World because all the women in it run around naked except for their collars. And their cuffs. And their shackles.
Ariana finds this an alarming sort of world, and a confusing world. And the inhabitants feel the same way about her, with her tales of crazed incel rapist wannabes everywhere and child armies and constant warfare and sex and money being intertwined. Earth, which they named Incel World in honor of its bizarre sexual practices, frightens them. They fear invasion by the barbaric hordes of Incel World, and some of them, being very logical, decide that they should kill Ariana so she can't return to Incel World and tell them about Collar World!
Will Ariana survive? Can she change Collar World by teaching the women of Collar World how great it is to be equals with men in all things? And what about the surprisingly appealing incel (a phrase she ever expected to use) she met back in Bayport?
Only one way to find out: get the book … it's free on Kindle Unlimited. And if you haven't read “The Future of Another Timeline by Newitz, get it, too. You can't have too much mind-bending SF.

Collar Dread: Making Trouble In Paradise

International Bookstore Link
Amazon US Link

So one of the problems of creating a utopia in a story is that they can be dull reading. Happy happy nice nice forever is great for the protagonists, but it's dull for readers. That's why romance novels always have the HEA (Happily Ever After) at the end of the story.

My favorite solution to this problem is the one devised by Ian Banks for his Culture novels. The Culture is an interstellar empire where everybody leads a wonderful life because some very smart, very capable artificial intelligences actually run the society and handle all the heavy stuff like warfare. But the Culture is surrounded by less desirable human civilizations that range from early medieval civilizations to full spacefaring civilizations whose leaders aren't willing to cede power to any artificial intelligences.

The non-Culture civilizations run the gamut from well-run civilizations that get on quite well with the Culture to real  crapsack worlds that the Culture tends to interfere with to minimize human misery. It falls to a section called Special Circumstances to deal with such civilizations, and most Culture novels are about Special Circumstances agents having a perilous time dealing with crapsack worlds.

Collar World is definitely a utopia of sorts, and I've had to think how to keep the stories from being dull. The first Collar World story was easy, it was a Young Adult erotic romance that had built-in conflict. Romantic issues can happen even in paradise.

And for my next story, I decided to go with using the very feature that makes Collar World a utopia, the Collar Climax. A deep and life-changing psychological transformation that occurs when a submissive is collared by the right Master (or Mistress, if that is her inclination), Collar Climax has changed civilization on Collar World for the better. It is a combination of going into subspace, falling in love and experiencing an epiphany that leaves the slavegirl feeling calm and clear of thought. It may not make her more intelligent, but it makes her sane, better able to access her own intelligence for her own sake, and the sake of others she cares about.

(Disclaimer: although Collar Climax is based on psychological effects submissives have reported, particularly entering subspace, its long term effects are entirely fictional, so far as I know.)

It occurred to me that deep and long-lasting psychological changes incurred by collaring could be scary. One moment, you are you, the next moment Collar Climax has transformed you into someone else.

And that's when I came up with the idea of Collar Dread. For most women, Collar Dread might exist just as a sense of mild anxiety that you might get with any major psychological change, no matter how eagerly anticipated. But for some it's an overwhelming dread that can lead some of them to extremes, even suicide.

So the protagonist of Collar Dread is an orphan who has turned 18 and had to leave the orphanage, and now faces imminent collaring. For most female orphans this is a happy moment, when she will be able to find a Master of her very own to love her and be loved by her.

But for Arlette Spencer, it was a time of Collar Dread. An orphan, she knew the worst could happen to her, because it had. With a powerful libido, she knew her body's ability to control her. Extremely bright, she feared her mind shutting down when she took a man's collar, becoming a sex zombie, capable of nothing but lusting after the man that owned her.

The story is about Arlette trying to deal with her Collar Dread, finding a way out before she was involuntarily collared or fell to the dark forces that preyed on girls who could not find a collar.

Collar Dread has been one of the best sellers from my back catalog. I'm not surprised.

Dammit, I've Written Sci-Cli Fiction

So there's this new thing going around, climate-change science fiction, called Sci-Cli by some, god help them.

The idea is that climate change is going to fuck us up so thoroughly that science fiction writers HAVE to write about it. Judging by the way climate scientists are running around screaming about it like their hair is on fire, it's gonna be HUGE. I mean, the coral reefs are already dying out RIGHT NOW. Not someday, not in the future, right fucking NOW.

Unfortunately, in my experience science fiction that's written to further a cause is pretty awful stuff. It's not that SF can't have opinions about the future, or that it can't advocate for this or that, but the story has got to rule.

Utopia, for example, started out as the name of a science fiction novel written by Thomas More in 1516. It was about wonderful people who lived on a great fictional island and it's described as being similar to life in some religious monasteries, so you know it was one rockin' read! Well, for 1516, maybe. I think by modern standards, reading it is probably a lot like having dental work without anesthesia. Certainly, that's what reading most advocacy SF is like.

So advocacy SF, utopian or dystopian or somewhere in between, sucks. This is known. But thing is, climate change is happening now. I mean, back in the 1950s and 60s if you were writing about computers based on this nifty thing called a transistor that would someday give you the power to do differential equations with a device the size of a home refrigerator that weighed only half a ton, well you're writing SF, son. You're ahead of the curve.

But if you're writing about personal computers on a fucking Commodore-64 in the mid-80s, you're not doing SF, you're just fucking around. You are behind the curve, buddy.

And that's the thing, the coral reefs ARE dying off, right now. Scientists are coming up with panicky attempts to save them and even the morons that run governments are giving them money to give it a try, because coral reefs are worth fucking money. If you're not including climate change in your stories of the future, you're fucking up. You are behind the curve.

Even if you want to have things be about the same a century from now, you have to at least do some hand-waving to explain why your grandkids aren't living in underground silos trying to stretch a small bar of wobbly tofu into a meal and cursing the memory of their grandparents who couldn't be bothered to deal with climate change when it would have been doable. You have to say “The atmo-stabilizer plants cured the atmosphere and made everything good in 2065, to everyone's great relief” or something along those lines.

Thing is, I'm already writing sci-cli (god I hate that term, I hope it never catches on). In my sequel to “Visitor from Incel World” the people from Collar World have figured out how to open crosstime gateways to Incel World, and they're just fucking horrified at what they find, and I'm not just talking about all the vanilla sex. They figure our world has maybe a century before things really go to shit, with plenty of unpleasantness along the way that could accelerate things. They think we're violent (because of all the wars, you know) and we're run by corrupt thugs (because current events).

So I'm doing my part, so there! No grandkids swearing over their tofu at me!

My Fantasy Fuel Novel, “Slavegirls of Outer Space," Available for Free

So a decade or so ago, I came across the movie Slavegirls From Beyond Infinity. I did and still do consider the first 15 minutes of the movie the finest sexy scifi B movie ever made. Unfortunately, after that first 15 minutes it very quickly devolved into a tepid remake of “The Most Dangerous Game” whose only strong point was two pretty good B-movie actresses running around in skimpy leather bikinis, which, sadly, still leaves it as a top-level sexy scifi B movie even if the story is really old shit. I mean, almost a century old (first published in 1924) and has been remade time and time again in many formats, each more boring than the next.

I was so pissed off over the loss of what started out to be a GREAT movie that I did want any writer of erotic SF would do: I wrote a book based on those first 15 minutes, extending the rest of the story logically from the beginning, which involved an escape from a cargo hold on an interstellar slave ship.

Thus was Slave Girls of Outer Space written, to be the story that “Slave Girls From Beyond Infinity” SHOULD have been. The short blurb sums it up nicely:

Join Dita and Maria, two hot, sexy escaped slave girls, as they romp through a galaxy filled with competing interstellar empires, artificial intelligences, aliens, space pirates, hair's-breadth escapes, space battles featuring starships firing ravening bolts of utter destruction, and hot sexy men. It's just plain fun, like watching a 1980s sexy SF B-movie, minus the stupid, plus the kink!

The first version of this story I wrote was a full-on erotic science ficiton story, with graphic sex scenes and everything. But while I was wirting it, somebody reported a ton of my books to Amazon as being too rapey for Amazon, which was really cracking down on the kink stuff, and about half a dozen of my books got banned and I got sent a letter saying I was a hairs-breadth away from being banned from Amazon.

So I rewrote the book, going back in and removing all the graphic sex scenes, leaving in the fantasy fuel because damn, anything entitled “Slave Girls of Outer Space” HAS to have fantasy fuel. But when I tried to post the story of Amazon it stalled and would not publish. It didn't get banned, it just got stuck in the works, and since I was a hairs-breadth away from being banned, I decided to take the hint and posted it to Smashwords instead.

Portraying Socially More Advanced Societies

Suppose you traveled forward in time and visited a future Earth where human society was more evolved than ours. What would such a society be like?

This question has been answered in books, movies and television shows set in the future, and the answer is very clear: people in more advanced societies wear togas, talk a lot but don't ever use contractions or slang, and view both violence and sex as animal behavior. In short, they're basically a Victorian Englishwoman's idea of ladies and gentlemen, dressed in togas.

In creating Collar World, I came up with a different answer, encapsulated by Ariana Hufflepuff's observation that she felt that she “had wandered into a summer camp that thought it was a city.”

Of course, she was on a college campus, which does have a summer camp feel compared to most urban environments, especially the older ones. People do a lot more walking and riding of bikes on college campuses. They're also more relaxed generally.

I suspect the cities of the future will be similarly more relaxed and casual. People will not be expressing social status through clothing, and will exist at a generally lower level of anxiety, because their societies will be healthier. They will not be worried about staying fed, clothed and sheltered, that would be something everyone gets for being human in a  post-scarcity society.

Women would be more relaxed around men, because rape, sexual harrassment and violence against women would be almost nonexistent. In “Conquest of Incel World” my Nero Wolfe character notes the way this difference between the women of Incel World (i.e., Earth) and Collar World: “When a man shows up, their assholes pucker up so tight you can hear it.” Whereas Moxie Maven, the Archie Goodwin character and a free-use girl, thinks men are “like candy.”

That's why the men of Earth are so attracted to the women of Collar World – the Collar World women have a much more friendly and open attitude toward men generally because they aren't worried about being attacked, sexually or otherwise, by them. Earth men are like the Victorian sailors who discovered the women of Polynesia would have sex with them without having to be raped, tricked, drugged, married or even given money … they liked men and sex! Of course they went wild for them, in many cases jumping ship and taking up life on the islands. They knew a good thing when they saw it. I mean, rum, sodomy and the lash are all right, but are no substitute for a healthy sex life, especially if you are on the receiving end of all the lashing and sdomizing.

Earth people just gravitate toward Collar World people because they seem so nice … because they ARE so nice, coming from a healthier culture.

That's my approach. Let good mental health be the hallmark of the more advanced culture, and let your characters interact accordingly.
